Compose Yourself! will be what is known as the ‘Controller” of the personal data you provide to us. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
What we need
We will only collect basic personal data about you in your role as teacher or parent. This information includes your email address and your pupil’s or child's name and date of birth.
Why we need it
We need to know basic personal data in order to process entries to the Festival and notify you of results. We will not share your personal data with any other organisations.
How long we keep it
We will keep your personal data for the duration of the festival. If you consent to remain on our email list, any information we use for this purpose will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
Video Permission
In addition to the personal data we keep, we also need your permission to include a video recording of your pupil or child on the Compose Yourself Youtube channel. We also will ask for separate permission to use videos on social media, for example on our Facebook page.
