Jenny Walker is an accomplished pianist, violinist and musician, with a licentiate in pianoforte performance from the Guildhall School of Music, a BA (Hons) from Bangor University, a PGCE teaching certificate and a diploma in special education. She is a piano tutor both at a local secondary school, and at home tutors piano and violin.
Having moved into the world of composition, she won first place in the EPTA adult category in 2014 and third place in 2015, and has numerous pieces at Piano Pronto, Amazon, SMP and a suite of pieces on the SuperScore App owned by Timewarp Technologies
Her Irish heritage and love of Debussy has greatly influenced her compositional style. She also writes for an instrumental trio and a ladies’ choir.
